Visualization methods to cleanse karma and karmic habits

In today’s post, I am going to introduce to you two visualization techniques from Korea that are designed to cleanse your karma and karmic habits. Please note that these visualization techniques may not be suitable for everyone and therefore, should be practiced at your discretion.

Visualization  I

1) Close your eyes and relax your body. Take a deep breath. Breathe in and out. Keep focusing on your breathing until your body is completely relaxed. It is imperative that you relax into a deeply meditative state of mind.

2) Picture a peaceful scene. Make sure you imagine a restful scene that will completely relax your mind.  For example, you can imagine a blue sky and a field with beautiful trees and flowers. Or you may imagine a beach with the golden sand, a scenic ocean or mountains with a picturesque view.

3) When you reach a deep meditative state where both your mind and body are totally relaxed, picture your body floating in the Universe. See, in your mind’s eyes, the Milky Way and twinkling stars. Envision what it feels like to be free from gravity. Enjoy the sensation of total freedom.

4) Now attach an atomic bomb onto your body. You are about to make your body evaporate into nothingness. Imagine this bomb as vividly as possible. Make sure that there is no fear in your mind. You should feel excitement and freedom instead.

5) When you are ready, turn on the switch of the bomb. See the huge explosion and see your body vanishing in an instant. See it impacting the stars and planets around you. Your body has completely vanished without any trace. See what it feels like to have no body and enjoy the sensation of utter freedom.

6) Now slowly move out of the meditative state.

4) Imagine a fast-revolving wheel which is turning so quickly that you cannot even make out its shape. It completely shreds everything into dust. When it touches a sponge, the sponge turns into dust in an instant. This wheel is so powerful that it even crushes metal into pieces.

5) Now picture this wheel slowly touching your foot. Watch your foot turning into dust. After both of your feet turn into dust, repeat this exercise with your legs, hips, abdomen, chest, neck and lastly your face, until your entire body turns into dust. See what it feels like to have no body and enjoy the sensation of freedom.

6) Slowly move out of the meditative state.
